About me

I have been a lecturer and senior Lecturer in Law at the University of the West of England since 1990. Former head of LLM programmes in European public law and European business law, I currently teach International and European competition law and policy and WTO Law on the LLM programmes and European Union law in the third year of the LLB degree.
From 1980 to 1984, I acquired a degree in French law, a Master in French Public Law and, in 1986, a DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma) a pre-doctoral degree in European Union Law at Strasbourg University.

Prior to being senior lecturer at the UWE, I lectured at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Institute of Political Studies) (Strasbourg) and Institut des Hautes Etudes Européennes (Institue for Advanced European Studies) (Strasbourg) and at the Strasbourg centre of the University of Syracuse (USA). I was also a visiting lecturer in European Union Law at Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia) (1995-96), and at Muenster University (Germany) (2003-2010).

I am the European Consulting Editor for International Journal of the Jurisprudence of the Family and a member of the International Academy for the Study of the Jurisprudence of the Family
