Dr Phil Legg

About me

Dr. Phil Legg is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), UK. His research interests cover a variety of related topics within Computer Science, most notably in the areas of Visual Analytics, Cyber Security and Machine Learning. Other topics of interests al​​​so include Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Data Visualisation, and Human-Computer Interaction. ​He has been delivering academic research and teaching for over 10 years, ​​and has worked on a variety of collaborative projects across medical, sport, and cyber-security domains.​ He holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D., both in Computer Science, from Cardiff University. He has also held post-doctoral research and teaching roles at Swansea University and the University of Oxford. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Higher Education (Distinction), and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is also a professional member of the IEEE and the BCS.
