About me
With regard to teaching my areas of interest include:
· Corporate Real Estate Management
· Property Management
· Landlord and Tenant Law
· Quality Assurance and Total Quality Management
· Property Taxation
I am passionate about the effective and efficient use of accommodation as a valuable resource; and the vitality and viability of the high street and town centres.
Area of expertise
Before joining UWE in 2007 I worked in the private and public sectors. The work ranged from the day to day management of property portfolios to managing a multi-million pound project relating to the restructuring of a large organisation. It was the latter project that enabled me to develop my skills relating to “change management” and applying critical thinking to asset management.
I am a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Management Institute.
