About me

Hello. My name is Lizzie, I am a Senior Research Fellow in Economics. 

My main research interests are around the management of data access and applications of microdata in decision making. My current research explores the application of european data management model- '5 safes' in different cultural contexts. I hold a future data services fellowship award for the ESRC working with the Future Data Services (FDS) programme which aims to establish the next generation of data services.

I am interested in disclosure control and how best to train experts in managing data. I work closely with a wide range of organisations to help shape the conversation of sharing and working with data safely including UNECE, ONS, Open Safely, NIHR, and others! My research is based at UWE DRAGoN

I also provide consultancy and analytical support for projects. Predominately I work with panel data, however I also provide support and assistance for many different types of data sets and different levels of analysis required. I work in SPSS, STATA and Excel. 

I have also published qualitative only projects. 

My teaching areas are; Research methodology, Behavioural Economics and Statistics.
