About me

As the Business Manager for the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education (ACE), I was a senior member of the Faculty Executive team with lead responsibility for driving change initiatives.   I am now working with the new College of Arts, Technology and Environment Executive on the transition from Faculties to Colleges and Schools; and with the Student Journey Directorate on the Target Operating Model change programme.

I started my career in Higher Education at UWE supporting the Academic Registrar and then became an Assistant Academic Registrar. I was responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of our provision and developed a Shell Award Framework where learning for and from professional development can be accumulated for a higher education qualification.

I am proud to be a member of such an ambitious and relevant University in a fabulous city.

I have a passion for education in all its forms; pre-school to higher education and beyond, including lifelong learning and learning from work. I am an engaged Higher Education Professional, committed to my own career development as well as that of my colleagues. I am a member of the Association of University Administrators and actively champion the professional culture of administrators at UWE Bristol. I believe in advancing education for the benefit of all and to working to the highest standards of professional behaviours.
