About me

I am a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Operations and a Senior Research Fellow for the RiHN project. Outside UWE I do some consultancy work and independent evaluations and I am a trustee for St Werburghs City Farm..

In 2021 I attracted HIEF funding for a project considering the value of client-based consulting projects. In 2019-2020 I won a Vice Chancellor's Early Career Researcher Award for a project called 'Evidencing the effectiveness of primary care networks'. 

Before joining UWE I worked in public sector procurement, and senior positions in procurement, supply chain and operations in Hewlett Packard and semi-conductor start-ups. 


Area of expertise

My research and teaching interests are in operations; strategy; networks; health evaluations and the effectiveness of process in health settings; patient and public involvement; and impact.
