About me

My main research interests include banking and financial reform in emerging economies, SME access to formal finance, institutional economics, higher education reforms and economic transformation in the former Soviet Union in general and in the central Asian economies in particular.

Prior to joining UWE Bristol in February 2013, I worked as a lecturer in Economics at Aberystwyth University.
