About me
My background is in the design and delivery of drug and medical device clinical trials, for the psychopharmacology of sleep problems, anxiety, treatment resistant depression, and opioid misuse, and also for the neuromodulation of pain, Parkinson's, and other neurological problems. I span both the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) Clinical Effectiveness and Research team, in order to facilitate NIHR and other major grant applications for health and social care research, within the Centre for Health and Clinical Research (CHCR) here at UWE Bristol. My dual role with academics and commissioners enables knowledge mobilisation and evidence informed practice.
