About me
I graduated from Aston University in 2004 with a degree in Marketing. As part of this degree I carried out a placement year as a Marketing Assistant at IBM Hursley Laboratories.
Since graduating I worked for At-Bristol (an educational charity) as a Marketing Assistant. Within the first year I was promoted to Membership and Marketing Officer managing and marketing the Membership scheme, the corporate hire spaces and At-Bristol.
After three years in At-Bristol, I moved to the University of the West of England in 2007 into the role of Marketing Officer to promote Bristol Business School. In 2009 I enrolled on the Masters in Marketing which I undertook part-time whilst carrying out my full-time role.
In 2010, the Business School merged with the Law School to become the Faculty of Business and Law, and therefore I took on the Marketing of the professional Law courses.
In 2011 I graduated with a Distinction in MSc Marketing. My dissertation focused on social media as a marketing communication tool within the decision-making process of prospective students choosing a University at which to study.
I have now moved into a new role as Marketing Executive (Partnerships Group) in the Marketing and Communications team at the University of the West of England.
