Mrs Clare Davidson

Clare is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture Technology and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. At UWE, Clare is co-Programme Leader for the BSc Architectural Technology and Design programme and co-leads the first year Design Studio 1 module, Construction Technology and Services 1 and three of the MSc Facade Engineering modules.

Clare joined UWE permanently in January 2018, teaching across both the Architectural and Construction related programmes.

Clare graduated from UWE with her RIBA Part 3 qualification in 2011, joining the Architect's Registration Board thereafter.

Once qualified, Clare worked at UWE as an Associate Lecturer alongside her professional practice, supporting the first year Design Studio.

Clare worked as a Project Architect in a traditional architectural practice in Bristol, completing several challenging residential and commercial schemes and establishing a keen interest in the conversion of old listed buildings and the development of sites within Conservation areas. Following this, Clare worked at Moon Architect and Builder; a collaborative Design and Build practice, focussing on delivering high quality, 'buildable' residential and commercial projects.
