About me
I joined UWE in 2016 as a Learning Technologist in FET progressing to a Senior Learning Technologist ACE in 2021 and the Digital Learning Service in 2022. I currently lead the Digital Learning Service in the College of Arts, Technology and Environment. Prior to joining UWE, I worked at the Open University for 6 years and going back further, I also completed my BSc in International Studies with the Open University.
I completed a PG Certificate in Online and Distance Education in 2017 and have a training background with a Certificate in Training Practice (CIPD) from 2007.
In my time at UWE I have worked with a variety of learning technologies such as Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate, Mentimeter, Panopto, Xerte, CampusPress, MS Teams, Dewis and Padlet and I have also worked extensively with formative and summative online exams as well as supporting the distance learning provision at UWE.
I am interested in learning design, inclusivity and keeping up with the innovations in technology which may prove useful for teaching and learning.
