About me

Jack Ruskin is an artist, designer and educator. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Creative Technology at the University of the West of England in Bristol. He has been a lecturer and consultant at a number of UK institutions including Bath Spa University’s School of Art and Design, the University of Gloucestershire, Plymouth University and the University of Warwick. Before teaching he worked as a designer and project manager in the interactive industry; working on digital projects for a diverse range of companies and organisations including Sony, Orange, O2, Audi, O'Neil, Rip Curl, Body Glove, Natural England, DEFRA and many others. As a Fine Art graduate from Goldsmiths London his research interests straddle both art and technology, orientating around space, place and the generation of 'territory' within digital and hybridized media. Jack is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and an external examiner for the University of Hull and Leeds Beckett University.
