About me
Laura Parke is Senior Lecturer of BA Graphic Design, Foundation Link Tutor and Admissions tutor. A designer, educator and researcher whose practice is person centred, focusing on storytelling across print and screen-based platforms.
She has exhibited her work at the International Slavery Museum, Liverpool; The Whitworth, Manchester; Abington Studios, Blackpool; Arnolfini, Bristol; Islington Mill, Salford and Liverpool Independents Biennial.
Current research projects include an imperfect index, a series of short talks on the discriminatory past and present of graphic design, looking forward to diverse and inclusive futures. The first event was held at The Watershed, Bristol 2023, with the second in the series is due to be held in 2024.
