About me

I am the Enquiries Administration Co-ordinator for the Access and Learning Strategies (ALS) team, which is part of the Library's Learning Services.

The Access and Learning Strategies (ALS) team provides information and screenings for specific learning differences (such as dyslexia). They also provide one-to-one specialist study skills support, specialist mentoring, workshops and support groups for neurodivergent students.

The work we do as a service has a positive impact on the recruitment, retention, and achievement of disabled students at UWE Bristol and directly enhances the student experience.

I have worked at UWE since 2008. First working for the Faculty of Environment and Technology and then for Disability Services. I currently line manage the Access and Learning Strategies administrative team.

I am a member of the National Association of Disability Practitioners.
