About me

I am an experienced Academic Practitioner with 16 years experience as an educator at UWE. My cirrent role is Director of Undergraduate Studies for Business and Managment.

Prior to working at UWE I held senito positions in Global Brands (Planning Director Europe at Levi's, Store Operations Director Levi's) and latterly as Worldwide Head of Retail and then Global Head of Marketing for Speedo.

I successfully led the Viper KTP which was the only management KTP awarded outstanding by the UKTI. I have one paper currently submitted based on research from the Viper KTP. "Open innovation in an eco-system: Service-Dominant Logic in the rail infrastructure supply chain" European Journal of Marketing. In addition to completing my Masters this year with distinction, I have also worked to increase University external links, most notably by running an Industry engagement event 'Bridging the skills gap' which resulted in new partnerships forming with agencies within Bristol.

I was also responsible for co-module leading the start up of the DMI diploma, and teaching on the first 3 runs of this CPD course, which was nominated for an award in 2017.

In 2018 I was part of a successful bidding team who have secured consulting work with Highlands & Islands worth approx. £150,000.
