About me

I am am the co-Programme Leader for UWE's BA Geography course, and a member of the teaching team on UWE's MSc Transport Engineering and Planning programme. I teach across a range of subject areas within human geography, specialising in transport geography.

Alongside my teaching activities I am a member of the Centre for Transport and Society, here at UWE, and am involved in a number of interesting research projects. My main areas of research are: sustainable transport, autonomous (driverless) vehicles, cycling, public transport, ICTs and travel, transport mapping, and transport evaluation.

I write on a range of topics related to my research, and have published articles in several academic journals. An overview of my publications can be found on UWE's Research Repository.

Alongside my academic roles, I am a member of the Bristol Advisory Committee on Climate Change (BACCC).
