About me
Tom is a non-practising solicitor qualified in England and Wales.
He is a member of the Construction and Property Research Centre, where he leads on environment and sustainability. He is a member of the International Water Security Network, the Environmental Law Unit and the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
Tom is an active trustee of two leading marine charities: the Blue Marine Foundation and the Community of Arran Seabed Trust and is on the council of the UK Overseas Territories Conservation Forum.
Prior to becoming an academic Tom was a commercial property lawyer and still retains involvement in the sector.
Tom is a frequent contributor to national media on marine, environmental and property issues​
