About me
I am Professor of Economics at the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Bristol Business School, UWE.
My research interests include economics of migration, labour, ethnicity, citizenship, forced displacement, education, corruption, health, happiness and tourism. Most of my research is focused on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
I am also a Research Fellow at IZA (the Institute for Study of Labor, Bonn) and am currently a Subject Editor (Transition and Emerging Economies) of the international policy brief series IZA World of Labor.
I am keen to supervise PhD students in my research areas and welcome research, policy and business collaborations.
Office hours: by appointment (send me an email to a.ivlevs@uwe.ac.uk)
