About me

I received my education in Nigeria, where I obtained a BSc from Olabisi Onabanjo University, an MSc from the University of Ibadan, and a PhD from the University of Ilorin. My academic career began at Olabisi Onabanjo University, followed by Obafemi Awolowo University. I then relocated to the United Kingdom, where I held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Hull from 2022 to 2023, and subsequently worked as Research Associate at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, University of Cambridge, until 2024. In 2024, I joined the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol.

My research lies at the intersection of biostatistical machine learning, precision medicine, endocrine and metabolic disorders, and cancer biology. I develop methods to identify clinically actionable disease subtypes, focusing on Bayesian nonparametrics, Monte Carlo methods, and structured data analysis. My work is motivated by challenges in pregnancy, asthma, diabetes, and comorbidities, with questions arising from these areas inspiring and guiding my contributions to addressing complex health issues and improving health outcomes.
