About me

Computer scientist with degrees in Electronic Engineering and Robotics. My current area of research is data analysis and modelling for sustainability, particularly in the built environment. The broad theme of my work is modelling and analysing the energy performance of buildings and the habits and behaviour of their occupants, based on cheap data sources, such as simple sensors and metering data.

Aside from that, I have practical experience in cybersecurity (in which I have a continued interest), penetration testing, and software automation (in web scraping and system administration). Other experiences include design of Embedded Electronics products, Software-Defined Radio frontend design, and data analysis of network and firewall logs.

Area of expertise

Building physics, statistical modelling, data analysis, WSNs, Information Security, IoT Botnets, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Software Automation, System Administration, Web Development, Software-Defined Radio (SDR), Agent-based Simulators.
