About me

Anna completed her BA (Hons) in Architecture degree (RIBA Part 1) and Diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 2) at the University of Brighton. She holds a Masters degree in Architectural Design (Advanced Virtual and Technological Architecture Research) from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

She is an EU Qualified Architect and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

She has gained a broad range of experience in the industry working for a number of national and international design-led practices in a range of sectors including architecture, interior architecture and landscape architecture. She has collaborated, both as an employee and freelancer, with high profile companies such as KCA International, MKV Design, Hartmann Designs, Gustafson Porter and Foster and Partners. She has also worked on residential and commercial projects for private clients in Spain and Athens.

She worked as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West of England for three years teaching architectural design to a variety of levels and courses including architecture, architecture and planning, interior architecture and architecture and environmental engineering. She taught as a Visiting Professor in architecture at the IE University in Segovia, Spain and as a Senior Lecturer in interior design at Falmouth University, leading and teaching a variety of modules on interior design and histories and theories. She joined UWE as a full time Senior Lecturer in Architecture and Design in  September 2017.

Her research interests focus on wearable technology, body architecture, biomorphic design, 3-D printing and fabrication technologies. ‚Äč
