About me
Completed a PhD. At Cardiff University which looked at the informal systems of justice practised by Gypsy and Traveller communities in England and Wales. Prior to joining UWE worked at Middlesex University as a lecturer in criminology and Leeds Metropolitan University (now known as Leeds Beckett University) as a senior lecturer. Has taught on a range of modules from research methods, criminological theory. Interested in the 'forgotten actors' and hidden groups in criminology and criminal justice. To date has researched the victimisation, policing and informal systems of justice experienced within Gypsy and Traveller communities.
