About me

Anni is a researcher in the Sustainable Economies Research Group (SERG), focusing on strategic, place-based climate action. With a background in Environmental Science and Human Geography, her work explores how Net Zero efforts can enhance well-being and avoid deepening social inequalities. Anni is particularly interested in participatory methods that meaningfully engage local communities in shaping climate responses.

Currently, she is working with SERG colleagues to develop innovative methods for monitoring the social and economic impacts of Net Zero efforts across the region. This work aims to create inclusive, transparent frameworks that reflect the diverse needs and aspirations of local populations. Her research aims to ensure that climate strategies are both effective and socially just.
