About me

I am an economist specializing in the areas of technological change, investment and export performance of companies, and gender issues in labour market. My current research investigates how technological transformation affects women's employment and examines labour market inequalities through an intersectional lens. My research has appeared in journals including the Journal of Economics, Race, and Policy and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.

I also serve as the Programme Leader for Business Management and Economics (BA) at UWE Bristol.

I am actively engaged in multiple collaborative initiatives including:
- Leading a HEIF-funded multi-year project on Widening Access to Economics Higher Education, working to make economics education more inclusive and accessible
- Contributing to the EU Horizon Staff Exchange project on "Financing Green Transition" (2025-2029), collaborating with institutions across Turkey, Austria, Germany, and Belgium
- Participating in the Brunel Centre, a new data and research hub where I work alongside colleagues from the University of Bath, UWE, and Futures West to support regional growth and industrial strategy (2025-2030)

I serve on the Management Committee of the Association of Heterodox Economics and present at conferences including AHE, IAFFE, and IIPPE.

I welcome collaboration opportunities and student supervision in areas related to firm-level studies of investment and innovation, labour market inequalities, and heterodox economic approaches.
