About me

Dr. Atif Bilal is working as a Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies at Bristol Business School, University of West of England, United Kingdom. Dr. Atif Bilal has over twelve years of experience as a researcher, corporate trainer, consultant, and instructor of Management Sciences. Dr. Atif Bilal represented his research work at several world's prestigious forums including Harvard University, USA, and Oxford University, UK. He was awarded the Charles Wallace Visiting Fellowship Program (2022-23) to work on a research project at Essex Business School, United Kingdom. He was awarded the Best University Award (2017) and the Best Researcher Award (2016). He served as a consultant (Data Analyst) for the USAID and The World Bank. He has been part of many national and international conferences as a keynote speaker and led various panel discussions related to various topics in Management Sciences.

Current Research Projects:

  • Cultural Adjustment, Identity, and Well-being of Foreign Workers in the UK
    Principal Investigator, BA/Leverhulme Small Research Grant (2024). I am leading an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) study that explores the workplace inclusion challenges faced by foreign workers in the UK.
  • When Leadership is Denied: A Phenomenological Study of Women’s Lived Experiences of Promotion Rejection in the Fashion Industry
    This study explores how female professionals in the fashion industry experience and respond to being denied leadership opportunities.
  • Exploring Idiosyncrasies for Passion in Work-Related Contexts
    In collaboration with UWE Bristol and the University of Bath Management School (under ethics review), I am investigating how passion manifests in professional settings and its impact on employee engagement and well-being.
