About me

I am Senior Lecturer in Creative Technology at UWE, specialising in Games Technology. I am also a proud Women in Games Ambassador and certified Accessible Player Experience (APX) Practitioner with AbleGamers. My research interests surround diversity and accessibility in the games industry and my PhD thesis focused on using virtual reality and humanoid robots in assistive technologies, with a focus on improving quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses. My aim going forward is to raise awareness surrounding all aspects of diversity in the industry and actively working to improve the diversity of learners in games education through research, outreach, and teaching.
