About me
Having spent 10-15 years in the studio and outside broadcast industry I teach with application of skills in mind. I have worked on major events and broadcasts including the BRIT Awards, the MTV EMAs, the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Glastonbury, EURO 2016, the FA Cup and the Premier League. I am an experience audio engineer and sound guarantee with experience in the studio and in the field working sound consoles, communication systems and buillding and operating numorous differring broadcast and recording workflows. I believe in teaching the soft skills needed in the industry like team work, communication and project management as much as I do in the technology needed for the job. I like to bring context and practical hands on expereience into the classroom as well as introducing skills required in the industry today and in the future. For me this means looking at audio transportation methods like internet protocol, current technology standards in digital audio, complex signal flow and networked communication systems and workflows.
