Professional status: Registered Career Development Professional with the Career Development Institute.
Qualifications: Masters in Career Development; Qualification in Career Guidance.
Memberships: Full member of the CDI (Career Development Institute) and AGCAS (Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services).
Area of expertise
I am an experienced career development practitioner. I have worked in a wide variety of client cohorts, including within schools, Further Education, Higher Education and within community settings.
In addition to my role at UWE Bristol (Joint Programme Leader on the Career Development programme), I am also a freelance career development practitioner, and an associate assessor/trainer for the Careers Development Institute's Level Six programmes.
My interests include the impact of career development professionals on issues relating to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
I have recently completed a research project exploring the awareness of perimenopause and associated impacts among career development practitioners who work with this client group.
