Joint Programme Leader for the MA/PG Diploma/PG Certificate in Career Development; Career Coach.
Professional status: Registered Career Development Professional with the Career Development Institute.
Qualifications: Masters in Career Development; Qualification in Career Guidance.
Memberships: Full member of the CDI (Career Development Institute) and AGCAS (Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services).
Area of expertise
I am an experienced career development practitioner. I have worked in a wide variety of client cohorts, including within schools, Further Education, Higher Education and within community settings.
In addition to my roles at UWE Bristol (Joint Programme Leader on the Career Development programme and a practitioner role as a Careers Coach), I am also an associate assessor and trainer for the Careers Development Institute's Level Six programmes.
My interests include the impact of career development professionals on issues relating to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
I have recently completed a research project exploring the awareness of perimenopause and associated impacts among career development practitioners who work with this client group.
