About me

Chizoba trained as an Optometrist in Nigeria (Doctor of Optometry). She has an MSc in Public Health from the University of East London and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of East Anglia, Norwich. Her PhD focused on the role of home food production (biofortified vitamin A cassava and maize) in the prevention of nutritional blindness in children. Second, she developed a Markov model from scratch to assess the cost-effectiveness of home gardening/community farming of vitamin A biofortified yellow cassava and orange maize to prevent nutritional blindness in children. Lastly, she carried out a value of information analysis to examine the value of additional information to reduce uncertainty associated with adopting home gardening/community farming of yellow cassava and orange maize to prevent nutritional blindness in children.
