About me

Claire works within the broad field of education theory and practice with subject expertise in art and visual culture education. She teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate courses across the school and is a module lead and project supervisor. Claire's research interests include young people's access to a dynamic arts-rich education; constructions of knowledge in society; the role of education in dismantling social inequalities. Claire is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the UWE Education and Childhood Research Group (ECRG).
