About me

I obtained my first degree in Law at the Seconda Universit√† degli Studi di Napoli, Italy. After passing the bar examination and working as a lawyer in Italy, I moved to the UK in 2012, to undertake a Master of Science in Clinical Criminology at the University of Leicester. I then joined the Department of Criminology of the University of Leicester, where I completed my PhD and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. 

I joined UWE in March 2019 as a Lecturer in Criminology. I teach on a range of modules: Criminal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Internationa Crime and Criminology. 

My main research interests involve jury decision-making, psychology in the courtroom miscarriages of justice, deception detection in forensic contexts.

Office Hours: Wednesday 15:00 - 17:00
