About me

I completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2016. I subsequently worked for a small charity called the Pituitary Foundation, which provides information and support to pituitary patients. Following this, I returned to my studies to complete my Masters in Health Psychology at the University of Bath. I completed a 16 week placement as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Pain Research and graduated with a Distinction in 2018.

I am currently working as a Research Associate at the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) at the University of the West of England.

I am primarily working on a study testing the ability of a set of burn-specific patient reported outcome measures (PROMs), developed by researchers at CAR, to detect changes in psychosocial needs and outcomes following a burn injury.

I am also supporting a project which developed an intervention to support shared decision making between healthcare professionals and women contemplating breast reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy.
