About me
Dr Dennis (Guangyuan) Huang is currently a Lecturer in Experimental Aerospace Engineering. Before joining UWE, he worked at Cranfield University and the University of Nottingham as postdoctoral research fellows.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering from Tongji University Shanghai, Dennis undertook his joint PhD study at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in collaboration with Tongji’s Shanghai Automotive Wind Tunnel Center, and received a dual-award PhD/EngD degree.
Area of expertise
Dennis has research specialties in aeroacoustics of aeronautical and propulsion systems, emphasizing computational aeroacoustics, multi-fidelity noise modelling, wind tunnel aeroacoustic testing, and noise reduction. He has engaged in multi-party research projects including the EU H2020-CS2 SilentProp project (DOI: 10.3030/882842) and the Innovate UK ONEheart project (Ref. 10003388).
