About me
I am a member of the University's Innovation and Impact Team, within the Research and External Engagement Department. My primary role is to build relationships with businesses and public sector organisations to understand their needs and provide appropriate collaborative solutions for them. This includes highlighting the benefits of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, PhDs (currently paused), degree apprenticeships, future talent, skills and professional development opportunities at UWE Bristol. I also work closely with colleagues across other teams to support the business engagement for their opportunities.
I started at UWE Bristol in November 2017, before this I briefly worked in a similar role at Cardiff University and undertook some freelance employability work at the University of Bath. I have spent 9 years working as an HE Careers Consultant and Trainer at the University of Bristol, as well as 7 years in International Student Recruitment.
I have a BA Hons in French, Spanish and European Politics from Northumbria University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance from the University of Warwick.
