About me

I joined the University of the West of England – Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in 2020. I hold a PhD in Banking and Finance from Kent University - Kent Business School (2019) and a Master's degree in Financial Services in Banking (2014) from the University of Kent – Kent Business School.

Prior to my appointment at the University of the West of England, I held academic positions at Kent Business School and Buckingham University, where I taught courses in banking, accounting, and finance at various academic levels, including postgraduate and PhD students. Additionally, I have delivered online executive courses for Tehran University (Online).

My research interests primarily lie in the areas of Banking, sustainable finance, economic development, and the efficiency of capital markets. I am currently involved in several research projects investigating the existence of monetary transmission mechanisms, climate risk, and sustainable lending.

My office hours are on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 16:00.
