About me
My practice focuses on collaboration and co-design across many fields including publication, image, branding, public art, and events production. After graduating in the late ‘90s I freelanced for 13 years specifically choosing to create work for charity, not-for-profit and third sector organisations. Clients have included; Friday Late at the V&A, Dorset County Hospital, All Change Arts London, and On|Off at London Fashion Week.
Since 2012 I have been working full time as an academic within Fashion, Visual Communication and Graphic Design, including two roles at Programme Lead level. With the student experience and knowledge exchange as my focus, my current ambition is to re-establish my own practice and research in order to enhance my academic practice further. I am currently Senior Lecturer for BA (Hons) Fashion Communication at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
I also volunteer my time as treasurer and designer for Mary Anning Rocks, a charity that fundraised and campaigned to raise a statue of the palaeontologist Mary Anning in her home town of Lyme Regis.
