About me
Dr Evangelia Pantelaki is a Lecturer in Transport Studies at the Centre for Transport and Society (CTS) and she is teaching Transport Economics and Appraisal at the MSc Transport Engineering and Planning.
She is a transport economist and holds a PhD in Methods and Models for Economic Decisions. She has conducted research on business aviation, leadership in airline companies, sustainable mobility policies for commuting to school and work, cycling tourism, and older people’s mobility.
She has participated in several research projects and has been actively involved in the literature review process and primary data collection by preparing and delivering high quality questionnaires. What is more, she has been further involved in the statistical analysis of both primary and secondary data from National Statistics Offices. She has experience in identifying and discussing targeted transport policies with interested stakeholders and policymakers through public events and workshops. This is coupled with her most recent professional experience as Economic Consultant to several Greek Ministries.
Also, she has participated in various European and International conferences either presenting her work or chairing and organising special sessions. She contributes widely to the transport community by reviewing papers for highly ranked academic journals and has been invited to talk about sustainable transport policies and climate change.
