About me
As a Graduate Tutor (GT) in Aerospace role I conduct research, contribute to teaching and learning, and support the other activities of the department. Also being part of Engineering Modelling and Simulation Group (ESMG) led by Prof Yufeng Yao, which brings academics and researchers together to carry out high quality research in key engineering fields through the application of advanced modelling and simulation techniques. My research area includes novel morphing wing technologies and its applications for bio-inspired wing aerodynamic performance enhancement and noise reduction features. The simulation and modelling of these features are being performed using well-established high-performance Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software (Ansys). I am experienced in performing fluid flow simulations and an avid interest in the natural world including bio-inspired technologies.
