About me

After 20 years working in London in politics and the voluntary sector, in administrative, event management and public relations roles, I moved back to my home town Bristol late in 2002.  Originally joined UWE via the TSU, working in the former ESS in research admin and then supporting the Centre for Critical Theory.  Took on a permanent role in 2004 as Research Manager in Bristol Business School.  My role evolved to become Research, Consultancy & Executive Education Manager in 2008, in BBS which then later became FBL with the merger with Law & BILP.  Previous responsibilities included:  Doctoral Programme Support; RAE 2008; Research Bidding; CPD/Exec Ed team leadership; Research Centre Admin team leadership.  With the advent of OUA in January 2012, I moved into RBI Research Administration and in September 2014 my role became RAM (Post-award & Communication Services) across all four Faculties. In October 2017, my role changed again to Faculty Executive Research Support in RBEST (part of RBI)
