About me

Dr Glen Jankowski is a Lecturer in Psychology at UWE Bristol and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.

Glen began his research with the Centre for Appearance Research (UWE) in 2011. In 2016 he completed his PhD. He was a Senior Lecturer in Health and Social Psychology at Leeds Beckett University (UK) until 2024 and at University College Dublin (Ireland) until 2025. He returned to UWE in 2026.

Glen has various research interests ranging from medicalisation, shared decision making and commercial determinants of health to pedagogy and student wellbeing to body image and appearance
