About me
Dr Glen Jankowski is a Lecturer in Psychology at UWE Bristol and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.
Glen began his research with the Centre for Appearance Research (UWE) in 2011. In 2016 he completed his PhD. He was a Senior Lecturer in Health and Social Psychology at Leeds Beckett University (UK) until 2024 and at University College Dublin (Ireland) until 2025. He returned to UWE in 2026.
As a mixed-methods researcher, Glen has wide research interests ranging from health psychology (e..g, medicalisation, commercial determinants of health, alopecia, body image) to improving pedagogy (e.g., curriculum decolonisation, critical thinking skills).
