About me
I have built my professional career in the field of international education, developing extensive experience in student recruitment, partnership development, and the promotion of global higher education opportunities. Through my work in the sector, I engage closely with universities, education partners, and prospective students, contributing to the growth of international pathways and transnational education initiatives.
Alongside my professional practice, I have developed a strong academic interest in understanding the student experience within international education. My research has focused on transnational education (TNE), student satisfaction in the private higher education sector, and the influence of social media marketing on consumer behaviour in education decision-making.
I am currently reading for a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of the West of England, where my interests continue to explore the intersection of psychology, education, and organisational strategy in a global context.
Research Interests
My research interests are centred on understanding consumer behaviour and decision-making processes, particularly through the lens of Operant Theory, exploring how reinforcement, behavioural stimuli, and environmental cues influence purchasing behaviour and consumer choices.
I am also interested in brand strategy and branding dynamics, examining how brand positioning, perception, and identity shape consumer decision-making in competitive markets. A key focus of my work explores the role of strategic marketing management in building sustainable market positioning and organisational success.
In addition, my research explores how organisations identify, develop, and leverage competitive advantage, with particular emphasis on strategic differentiation, value creation, and the mechanisms through which organisations can excel within increasingly competitive environments.
Overall, my work sits at the intersection of consumer psychology, branding, and strategic marketing, seeking to understand how behavioural insights can inform more effective organisational and marketing strategies.
