About me
I originally studied Biology and gained my PhD in 2008 at Imperial College London. I then went on to complete a Foundation Degree in Paramedic Science at St George's and register as a Paramedic. Over the last 8 years I have worked as a paramedic lecturer before becoming a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow at UWE. I am currently working on several projects focusing on trauma care, particularly in the older adult.
Area of expertise
I am interested in all areas of emergency care research and particularly in the pre-hospital setting and the challenges that it can present. I am currently researching ways to ensure the delivery of gold standard trauma care as well as safely minimising hospital admissions.
