About me
I joined UWE in August 2023, having previously worked at the University of Gloucestershire as a Lecturer for 4 years. I have a teaching background in Criminology and Professional Policing, covering a range of topics, including response and community policing, criminal law, policing powers, counterterrorism, cybercrime and crime science.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Criminology, a MA in International Security, and I have completed my PGCAP and APA. I am starting my doctoral research in September 2024, examining Special Constabulary retention.
I am a serving Special Constable with over 8 years' experience, primarily on response.
I am an early career researcher with interests in taser, use of force, stop and search, volunteers in policing, extremism, radicalisation and CT.
