About me

I am a chartered psychologist and I am registered with the Health Professionals Council (HPC) as a practioner health psychologist. I also have postgraduate qualifications in sport and exercise psychology and am currently undertaking the BPS Stage 2 qualification in Sport Psychology. I am co-programme leader for the MSc in sport and exercise psychology. I am also module leader for the level 3 module the Psychology of Spotr and Exercise and I also teach on the level 3 health psycholoyg module, as well as MSc health psychology modules.

I am currently chief supervisor for the british psychological society (BPS) stage 2 qualification in health psychology.

Sport and exercise psychology in general, specifically the psychology of rowing and the exploration of athletes views on applications of sport psychology As well as increasing uptake of physical activity, use of key psychological skills to improve skills aquisition and performance in athletes; novel use of exercise as an intervention (i.e. reduce smoking withdrawal symptoms, improve body image); systematic review methodologies; health psychology
