About me
Dr Jasmine Childs-Fegredo is a senior lecturer on the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Jasmine is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, an HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist, and fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). She has expereince of working with complex mental health needs, and currently works part-time as a clinician in the NHS with children and young people. She holds a variety of research interests as a qualitative researcher.
Area of expertise
Prior to joining UWE, Jasmine undertook a post-doc in child and adolescent mental health at the University of Cambridge before taking on a lectureship at the University of Roehampton. She is a trained yoga teacher (RYT-500), and is currently working on developing yoga-integrated psychotherapy (YiP). Her other research interests include mental health in schools, mindfulness and dialectical behaviour therapy.
