About me
I am an established clinical academic, award winning educator and transformational leader, with a reputation for innovation and cultivating exceptional multi-disciplinary teaching and learning experiences. My background as a paramedic educator, operational commander, emergency care practitioner, has enabled me to develop a broad range of skillsets, and a portfolio spanning all four pillars of advanced practice.
My main duties at UWE are leading the Trauma and Mass-Casualty Management module, designing/directing the collegewide major incident simulation exercises, and delivering interally/externally funded projects and pedagogic research studies.
Area of expertise
Interprofessional simulation, major incident management, debriefing, paramedic practice, ECG interpretation and student mentorship.
