About me
I have a clinical background in midwifery, and have been working as a researcher in health and social care at UWE since 2001. Over that time I have been involved in a range of funded projects, and completed my PhD in 2007. I was a member of the Faculty Research Ethics Sub-Committee between 2005 and 2014 and contribute to teaching on both postgraduate and undergraduate modules concerning esearch methods. I also undertake doctoral and masters level supervision. My most recent substantial research role was as Project Manager from April 2014 = January 2017 for the multi-institutional NIHR-funded mixed-methods study 'Measuring Quality in Community Nursing (QuICN)' led by Dr Sue Horrocks from UWE. I am currently invovled in preparing material from the project for dissemination and am also engaged in conducting evaluations of different service areas.
