About me

I have 23 years educational experience in a range of settings- post-16, secondary, Adult and Community and Early Childhood Education in HE. I am currently undertaking PhD research into the impact of mindfulness and guided visualisation practices in Infant schools in areas of deprivation. I am interested in social policy around education and the psychology of teaching and learning. I also have a keen interest in health and nutrition, and the gut-brain axis, particularly with regards to combatting disease and have trained as a Health Coach and Cancer Mentor. The mind-body connection is a key theme in my research and tranpersonal incidences of implicit and pre-conscious understandings.
