Technical Educator – Contemporary Production - Screen and Sound

Profile Summary 
I'm a Technical Educator within CATE at UWE Bristol, leading technical provision in Contemporary Production for Screen and Sound. I work in partnership with academic teams to shape and deliver innovative, practice-based learning experiences for students. 

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Developing technical curriculum and delivery models.

  •  

  • Driving innovation in teaching practices and technical capability 

  •  

I also contribute directly to teaching moving image, supporting students in multiple programmes including; Filmmaking, Media production, Photography and Graphic Design

Expertise 
My expertise includes Video Capture and Post Production, Lens-based immersive and interactive experience creation as well as Photography and Digital Photographic Post Production.

Availability 

  • Working days: Monday - Friday

  • Working hours: 9am - 5pm

My research interests are predominantly around interactivity and immersion. I am currently in the production process of an Immersive and Interactive Documentary which will provide the foundation of my research projects in the immediate future.
