About me
My multi-disciplinary background, underpinned by degrees in Medicine, and postgraduate qualifications (M.Phil. and Ph.D.) in clinical pathophysiology enable me to understand issues in relation to health outcomes in patients with chronic respiratory diseases and any chronic conditions in general. International and national projects are both part of my research portfolio. The area of my main research interest relates to the physical and psychological factors that influence the health outcomes (mortality, quality of life, wellbeing) in patients with chronic and critical cardiorespiratory diseases. I am currently a member of multidesciplinary research groups REACH and CHCR at UWE.
